Here`s a handy table of the range of Beers as brewed by Chapman`s of Brighton ;

Covering the period when members of the Baily family were employed as or , were Pupil Brewers 

At the Black Lion St site . As with my recipies posts on this brewery ; 

The information comes from the Baily family Brewing Books in the Collections of the good folks 

In Cowley at The Oxfordshire History Centre  .

 

Sadly , Chapman`s Black Lion Brewery `s own brewing records are not known to have survived ;

 With the other Chapman`s brewery in Sussex at Worthing , Occupying a similarly lamentable 

Position in terms of the survival of Brewing Books and other allied production records .
